I developed a passion, very early into my PhD thesis, when working on the relations between human papillomaviruses and their impact on cervical cancer, and it was this enthusiasm and inspiration which drove me down a path whereby my ultimate goal was to dedicate myself to making a difference and providing benefit to people.

My continual desire to help people steered me towards the Pharmaceutical Research and Development sector where, inspired by new ideas from brilliant colleagues and the opportunity to find new and better ways to bring innovative medicines to patients, I have held a number of extremely stimulating and satisfying positions; roles which provided me with unique opportunities, across numerous global locations and it is here where I honed my professional, and personal, focus towards the importance of patient, and environment, safety and regulated quality assurance systems in order to ensure data integrity.
